Posted by “J’accuse”, (“I accuse”) was the French title of the famous open letter written by the French writer Émile Zola to the president of the French Republic in defense of Alfred Dreyfus, a Jewish officer who had been falsely accused of treason by the French army. It was published in the newspaper L’Aurore on Jan. 13, 1898.
The letter blamed the French army for covering up its mistaken conviction of Dreyfus. It was instrumental in generating public response to what became known as the Dreyfus affair. Zola himself was brought to trial on Feb. 7, 1898 and was sentenced to one year imprisonment and a fine of 3,000 francs for libel. As a result of the new attention focused on the affair, Dreyfus got a new court-martial. He was still found guilty but was pardoned by the president of the republic. Not until 1906 was Dreyfus finally cleared of all wrongdoing. He had never committed treason and Emile Zola had rightfully accused his government of breaking the law and imprisoning a completely innocent man.
Today, we have good reason to accuse our own government and other institutions of treason, lying, and many other sorts of falsehoods. I am therefore using Zola’s header for this article.
I ACCUSE scientists of having falsely adopted and promoted the man-made climate change (MMCC) saga, for which there is insufficient scientific evidence. Climate has always changed and in far more dramatic ways than it is changing today and at geological times when there were not even any humans around. And humans have never experienced mean earth climate, which is much warmer than our current climate, because we have only been around for little over one second of earth time.
I ACCUSE the same scientists and in particular the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) of having falsely propagated the saga that the so-called “greenhouse gas” CO2 is at fault for the atmosphere becoming warmer. CO2 is not a good heat storage medium or heat blocker. It is called a “greenhouse gas” not because it heats up greenhouses but because it is the staple food of all plant life and immensely enhances plant growth. Reducing CO2 in our atmosphere deprives plants of their basic nutrient and indirectly also reduces the production of oxygen by putting the brakes on photosynthesis. To be against CO2 and call yourself “green” is as honest as to call yourself a “democrat” and act in ways that are destructive of democracy.
I ACCUSE our public school system, its teachers (there are exceptions), and the authors of Common Core and much of the teaching material for our elementary and high schools of having completely abandoned the objective of educating children to learn how to think independently and critically and to develop into self-motivated, creative, and productive members of a free-market society in which everybody should at least make an honest effort to carry his/her own weight. Instead, our school system and far too many of our teachers have themselves become victims of a collectivist, anti-individual ideology that promotes group-think over individual critical thinking, other-direction over inner-direction, and often ideological correctness over scientific evidence and overall have replaced education with indoctrination working as implementors for the collectivist globalist elite that is attempting to replace our national capitalist free-market system with global governance and a government controlled centrally planned economy.
I ACCUSE our Universities and Colleges and the vast majority of their professors of having become the executors of a Marxist model of society, economy, and culture. They have undermined the principles of our Constitution, in particular of our First Amendment, and over three generations successfully created two types of behavior in our young people: the snowflakes, who need safe spaces to protect them from adverse critical thought and speech and thugs that are ready and willing to use violence against anybody who does not conform with their ideas of equity, and inclusiveness. If you say “All lives matter” they will demolish your car. If you say “Equity comes always at the expense of liberty” they will burn your house or business. If you say, “The Nation state is a viable organizational pattern for people with a strong “we” feeling”, you are a NAZI and you must be killed. This mess was brought upon us by our institutions of higher “education” and paid for by our tax money.
I ACCUSE the Democratic Party of being a bunch of DINOs “Democrats in Name Only” (or mostly so). They are pursuing global communism, which they now publicly call “the new liberal world order”. Our current Democrat government is obviously not acting in the best interest of the American Nation. Democrat Marxists claim that capitalism is not sustainable, because it is wasteful, polluting, and inequitable. If you want to see waste, pollution and inequity look at the so-called socialist or semi-socialist countries. The DDR, former communist Germany, left entire landscapes uninhabitable because they were so polluted. The elites in socialist systems live lives of unpublished luxury mostly earned through extorsion and political power brokering. China (world’s largest manufacturer) and India (world’s largest steel producer) are the top polluters and today consume more natural resources than the USA or the EU.
I ACCUSE the media and journalism of having completely failed as controlling elements of democratic societies. They are spewing out lies, suppressing or spinning the facts and have mutated from an institution that speaks truth to power to an institution that spreads the propaganda lies of the powerful. This is a historic failure and I doubt if journalism will ever be able to regain some credibility with us, the people.
I ACCUSE our medical leaders, Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx, the NIH (which developed the COVID virus in the USA – right here in Raleigh, NC – and then passed it on to Wuhan) and the CDC, as well as several large pharmaceutical companies of having fabricated the entire so-called COVID-19 pandemic. In collaboration with the promotors of the “liberal new world order” they have created the excuse and pretense for those in power to suspend our civil rights, ruin our businesses, damage the psychological and intellectual development of our children, and probably cause the deaths of countess people by forcing them to wear useless masks (microbial infections), keep a distance from each other of no less than 6 feet (overdose), and face financial ruin (suicide) if they would not agree to being “vaccinated” with untested mRNA “vaccines”. This was likely one of the most severe violations of our human and civil rights.
I ACCUSE the string pullers of the Democrat party and the deep state of having adopted Ms. AOC’s brain-dead “Green New Deal”, which is based on the MMCC-lie and attempts to destroy our economy, our society, our Constitution, and the truth. The Green New Deal is the program for America’s energy death. If fully implemented, it will eliminate America as a nation state. Make no mistake: there currently is no form of energy except nuclear energy that could replace energy from fossil fuels. In 2021, less than 10% of the world’s energy came from wind and solar. And we are already plastering up the earth with solar panels and embellishing it with windmills. We are told that this is environmentally friendly. According to cancer biologist David H. Nguyen, PhD, toxic chemicals in solar panels include cadmium telluride, copper indium selenide, cadmium gallium (di)selenide, copper indium gallium (di)selenide, hexafluoroethane, lead, and polyvinyl fluoride. Silicon tetrachloride, a byproduct of producing crystalline silicon, is also highly toxic. More and more agricultural surface is consumed by solar panels. Not only can we no longer grow crops where solar panels have been planted, the solar fields will remain unusable for agriculture for decades after removal of the panels due to the chemicals used to keep plants from overgrowing them. Soon, solar panels will become uneconomic and obsolete. Who will pay for their removal and the disposal of these toxic substances? Windmills are made from synthetic material that is made from fossil raw material. And solar panels don’t produce energy when the sun don’t shine just as windmills don’t produce energy when the wind don’t blow. Yet, the fanatic environmentalists are dead set against nuclear energy, which is our only chance of collective survival. Environmentalism has mutated into a misanthropic hate doctrine.
I ACCUSE the Big Tech information management companies such as Twitter, Microsoft, Facebook etc. of having killed the Internet as an “information highway”. By censoring the content and form of what people can say or write on social media they have turned the Internet and social media into a disinformation highway. The US have been turned from a country with freedom of speech into a country whose citizens may only say what is politically correct. It is not convenient speech that needs protection. It is inconvenient speech that is protected by our 1st Amendment. That used to be speech the King did not like. Now, it is speech our illuminated socialist/globalist elites do not like or the mobs that do their dirt work. Is this why our forefathers left Europe? Is this why we fought the war of independence?
I ACCUSE the feminist movement of having abandoned all moral standards and decency. First, they wanted to have the same rights and opportunities as men. They got that. But step by step their demands increased. Today, the feminazi movement wages war against men and all typically male characteristics and behaviors. Even the fashion industry has jumped on the bandwagon promoting skinny suits that let men appear asthenic and effeminate. Their outrageous demand that women alone must have the say-so over whether a human child in the maternal womb lives or dies, their demand of killing a child up until birth or even after birth is sheer barbarism. I agree that women should be able to have an abortion under certain circumstances, such as rape or incest or a significant risk for the survival of the mother. I even agree that if any of these indications exist, medical insurance should pay for the cost of the abortion, because in these cases it really is health care. To call any form of arbitrary and capricious abortion “reproductive healthcare” is a cynical inversion of the truth, because it infers that reproductive health implies the prevention of reproduction and that being pregnant is a disease. The feminist movement has mutated into a death cult. Can it get any sicker?
I ACCUSE the undemocratic, incompetent, and illegitimate Biden administration of having deliberately stopped our oil production with Executive Orders and administrative obstacles. They slowed down our refineries, closed down the Keystone XL pipeline, and stopped drilling and prospecting in ANWAR. Nota bene: these were all Biden campaign promises and they were implemented before Putin invaded Ukraine. Blaming Putin’s invasion for fuel shortages, high fuel prices, and inflation in general is complete and utter hogwash. The fuel shortage was caused by Biden’s Green New Deal action item: to ween America off fossil fuels. High cost and shortage of fuel also have the effect of preventing people from driving their cars, because they simply can’t afford it anymore. In the brave new liberal world order people are not supposed to drive around in private vehicles. They are supposed to live in urban beehives and use public transportation. That makes it easy for the authorities to control them. And inflation comes from too much money in the economy, while goods and services stagnate or decrease. Putin does not print our money. Now we are being told that Biden released significant amounts of our strategic oil reserves. But he did not release them into the US refinery market. He sold them to China and India. By stopping our domestic oil production Biden has destroyed or energy autarchy and the pertinent political independence from the Muslim world and the Russians, neither of which wish us well. Instead, he now must beg for oil from the Arabs and since low production has driven up oil prices, he now also supports Putin’s war effort against Ukraine all while we are spending enormous amounts of money supporting Ukraine against Russia. BTW – does Russian oil or Arabian oil burn cleaner than American oil? It does not. Stupidity? Ineptitude? Blockheaded compliance with ideological dogma? Sheer evilness? You pick.
I ACCUSE the Democrats of tearing down our economy and our nation. But I also accuse the Republicans of taking no effective action against this destructive policy. Maybe Biden is in the pockets of the Chinese due to the shenanigans of his addict son Hunter, which Bubba Joe knew, condoned and facilitated. But what about McConnell the Republican Senate Speaker? We know that his wife, Elaine Chao, is Chinese and owns and runs a major shipping company that does business almost exclusively with China. The ships were almost exclusively built in China, employ almost exclusively Chinese crews, and transport almost exclusively Chinese merchandise. Could there be a perceived dependence of McConnell on the Chinese? Recently, one of Ms. McConnell’s ships, the Ping May was found to transport nearly 100 pounds of cocaine among the Colombian coal load it was supposed to ship to Europe. Could there be a perceived connection with the Columbian drug mafia? The Republican Party is just about as corrupt and inept as the Democratic Party. The only difference is that the Democrats are more systematic and effective. They are fare more capable of destroying America as we know it than the Republicans are of preventing them from doing so.
I ACCUSE our government of accommodating the demand of the atheistic Left to remove religion from all public places under the false pretext that this is required by the postulate that church and state must be separate. Only ignoramuses can buy this nonsense. In the time during and after the 30 years war in Europe between catholic and protestant forces, the rule was that the subjects needed to convert to the same religion as that of their head of state. That was non-separation of church and state. What we are seeing in the US today is a war against religion and particularly against Christianity. Wake up you sleepy Christians or you will all end up in an AOC Reprogramming Camp.
I ACCUSE us, the American people, that we are still putting up with this willful destruction of our nation, our youth, our health, our economy, our social fabric, our currency, and our culture. I know, it’s the proven salami tactic: if you consume the sausage in thin slices – never enough to cause people to become really upset – it will be just as gone in the end as if you had eaten it all at once. I think we can all agree that the Declaration of Independence is the introduction to the Constitution. A prelude, so to speak, that explains and justifies, why the founders of this nation believed that they had the right to secede from the British Empire and King. They did not argue “this is a unique situation and here are the unique reasons why we alone and nobody else should have the right to break away from the British Kingdom”. They argued that whenever certain circumstances occur, the people should be entitled to change their form of government and their allegiance. The word “whenever” makes this a principle:
“We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness—-That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.” (Emphasis by the author)
It seems to me that the “whenever” moment may have arrived again in our history. This is the ultimate reason for American Uniqueness. No other constitution enshrines a right of the people to get rid of its government if the government tramples on the God-given (or natural if you prefer) rights of the people. On the background of the massive 2020 election fraud (now coming to light piece by little piece) that brought the Democrats to power, we the people had plenty good cause for discontent and complaint. Now Mr. Biden is dead set to use his pen to federalize all the fraudulent voting practices and make them law. This is not just illegal and unconstitutional. It is in fact the end of our Democratic Republic by presidential decree.
Land of the free? Home of the brave? If you all want to continue to be free, you’d better start being brave soon. Is it not high time for the people “to alter or to abolish” our current perverted and deeply corrupted form of government and to “institute new government” in order to “effect [our] safety and happiness” as our Declaration of Independence argues?
I know, I know – the Declaration of Independence also has these words of caution:
“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”
But it continues:
“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” (Emphasis by the author)
These are not my words. They are the words of the founders of this Republic. Whether the train of abuses and usurpations aiming at reducing us under absolute despotism has reached this critical point is not up to me to decide but to you the readers, the citizens. I hope you will decide wisely.
